FAQ

What’s on Your Mind?

What is a typical day on your boat like?

That really depends on you. For some species you need to be on the fishing grounds at first light. Other species seem to bite better mid morning and other it really doesn’t matter what time you go out. A typical day will usually start out around 7:00 am spending about 20-30 minutes catching live bait than a short 15 minute ride to the fishing grounds. I usually don’t have a time that I need to be back at the docket but can accommodate my guests schedules. I usually let the fish decide when we go home. When they stop biting we leave or find another spot.

What time will we get back to the dock?

I am usually back to the docket between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. However, this can be discussed more specifically when we chat about the kind of fishing you want to do.

I have never fished before, is that ok?

YES! I will teach you everything you need to know!

Can I take my child on your boat?

YES! I will teach your children how to fish just like anyone else. However, your child’s maturity level, size and age do play a part. This is an area I like to discuss with parents on an individual basis. I prefer not to take any minors out fishing without their parents accompanying them, but we can discuss this further before your day out.

What should I bring with me?

You should bring all the food and water you will need while we are on the boat. I may have some extra waters but please bring your own. I have a large YETI cooler dedicated for food and drinks. You should bring a hat, sunglasses, sun tan lotion and any personal products you may need. I recommend that you wear closed toed shoes and a long sleeve shirt. You can bring your camera, cell phone, music and anything else you may need.

If you are unsure if you should bring something, email me and we can discuss it.
You can bring your favorite rod and reel, fly reel and fly rod, but you don’t have to. You are welcome to bring any tackle that you want to try but please let me know before the trip what tackle you are bringing.
